Conversations That Move Impact Forward

On Purpose Oregon had the opportunity to join the Building Forward Collaborative’s bi-annual cohort gathering — a powerful community of Pacific Northwest design-build businesses committed to the Triple Bottom Line: People, Planet, and Profit.

Thank you to Triple Bottom Line Construction and Birdsmouth for inviting our Executive Director, Wes, and Board Chair, Sarah, to speak about non-financial measurement, impact tracking, and the evolving landscape of the new B Corp standards.

What stood out most was the energy in the room: purpose-driven organizations openly sharing ideas, challenges, and solutions in pursuit of building better businesses together. While each company approaches impact differently, from B Corp Certification to 1% for the Planet and other project-based frameworks — the shared commitment to people and planet was undeniable.

We were grateful to share On Purpose Oregon’s Impact Framework and contribute to such thoughtful conversations around how businesses can measure what truly matters.

Collaborative spaces like this remind us that impact work is never meant to happen in isolation. The future of business is being built together.
