The B Lab Standards V2 represent a bold step forward for the B Corp movement. To support you on this journey, B Lab U.S. & Canada is excited to launch our B Lab Standards Workshop series – a collection of in-person workshops designed to dive deeper into high-impact requirements.
Specifically curated for medium-sized companies*, these workshops bring B Corps and values-aligned businesses into community to connect, learn, and build actionable strategies for the future.
June Session: Building Your Climate Action Plan
Under V2 of the B Lab Standards, all companies are required to take action to combat the climate crisis and its impacts. Developed by B Corp Proyecta Impacto and co-facilitated by B Lab Staff, local consultants, and B Local Leaders, this workshop will guide participants through drafting a climate action plan.
Participants will walk away with a practical toolkit, including:
Climate Action Governance Framework: A draft structure aligned with V2 standards.
Year 0 Compliance Mapping: A worksheet to navigate your immediate certification requirements in Climate Action.
90-Day Roadmap: A clear, prioritized plan to move from the workshop straight into implementation for the Climate Action requirements.
This session is designed to be approachable for those with a basic understanding of the B Lab Standards V2 – no need to be a climate action expert! We recommend coming with a basic familiarity of the Climate Action Impact Topic in order to get the most out of this session. (Not sure where to start? Check out the Climate Action Immersion Course!)
These workshops are hosted by B Lab U.S. & Canada in partnership with On Purpose OR. B Lab U.S. & Canada is part of the nonprofit ecosystem that runs the B Corp Certification. B Local communities are independently run organizations or committees, most commonly led by volunteer boards.

*Note: These workshops are designed around the requirements for medium-sized companies under the B Lab Standards V2. All company sizes are welcome, but be aware that additional criteria may be required for large, XL, or XXL companies to meet the CA2.2 climate transition plan requirements.
